Looks like ours but yours is metal and ours is plastic. I twist it and the cylinder comes out for cleaning.Just try pulling it out . There should be a cylinder in yours .If you are hesitant shine a torch down to see if the gunge has collected. Then just get something like a crochet hook or piece of wire and try to get it out.
You should be able to twist it and take it out of the plug hole. This is what is supposed to collect any debris from going down the waste pipe. If it has been in there for some time, you may need to free it with pliers - do it gently.
