Hi good AB'ers - Whats the Best glue / adhesive ? to glue, - a Detail Sander Velcro ( triangular ) backing pad to the ( triangular )rubber pad ? the Velcro pad that's between the rubber and the actual velcro sanding sheet ? Thanks good AB'ers GL .

I stuck mine back together with contact adhesive i.e. Evo-stik. I've used it a few times since and it's still stuck.

I'd go with Ratt's suggestion ... contact adhesive.

I’ve recently been using Gorilla Glue on many items and found it to be very strong and to have a little flexibility (when needed).

I successfully glued the soles back on a pair of trainers – which has become detached due to Mrs Hymie washing them in a high temperature wash.

Bear in mind that when the glue dries, it expands – so best to test it for your application first.

Try Copydex if you don't like the stink of contact adhesive.
