Sending Glass

Glass-fronted case, about 30”x20”.

How can I best send it (through postal system) to protect plate glass - i.e. it’s strong, but a sharp object could do for it.

I was wondering if you can buy those rigid plastic cases cheaply?

I would send it by carrier - well wrapped with bubble wrap and cardboard.
