Help! We have found a bed bug on our mattress.. I have gotten rid of the critter. Any sensible suggestions. WE have ordered a new mattress.. And have hot washed all the bedding. Yuk

Beware they hide in crevices in bed frames especially underneath. Unless you dismantle the frame you won't be sure of getting them all

I read an article once where it said that if youleave the bed undone and open all day the bed bugs dessicate and die.

Hand held steam cleaners are supposed to be good at killing bed bugs, especially around the awkward parts of the bed frame.
