Sprint 35 Petrol Lawn Mower

anyone know what brand this ? My friends husband has gone into nursing home and she wants to start getting rid of stuff in the garage. This is an unusual piece. petrol rotary. I would guess 1950s. Bodywork is all steel panelling with a single central handle. Its quite heavy. Are there any reputable auctioneers/dealers in the essex area dealing in this type of collectables. doesnt seem to be a section for this which is why i put the Question in H & G..

It might be a Briggs & Stratton, which is an excellent make and originally developed in the USA. Although I doubt that is worth a fortune, perhaps £50 on E/Bay.

Worth looking on E/Bay and seeing if there is a similar Mower. Here's an example of a Briggs & Stratton Rotary ;-

My gut feeling is that it is probably worth a bit more than £50 ~ have you tried starting it with some fresh petrol. Briggs & Strattons are 4 stroke engines but may need some easy start (https://www.halfords.com/motoring/engine-oils-fluids/fuel-oil-additives/bradex-easy-start-300ml) to get it to fire, but try "turning over" with spark plug disconnected / removed to make sure its not seized. If its running it will be worth considerably more. If you were closer I would come and have a look for you. But back to your original question ~ a google search shows this result.
