Some tests for possibly dodgy websites:

TEST 1: Is the name address of the company (or individual) that registered the domain name shown on Nominet's 'Whois' service?

Answer: No. It's been hidden, thus breaking the rules on the registration of .co.uk business domain names.

Result: TEST FAILED


Test 2: Is there a geographical address for the company shown on the firm's website, as required by UK law?

Answer: No. The only means of contact is via a web form.

Result: TEST FAILED.


Test 3: Are the images showing the company at work here

actually real photos of their staff going about their business?

Answer: No. The image which appears to show one of their kitchen fitters at work can also be found on a Brazilian website. The other images are clearly 'stock' images too.

Result: TEST FAILED.


Hmmm. When my numbers come up on the National Lottery, so that I can order a nice new kitchen, I think that I'll be looking elsewhere ;-)

Ahhh, I hadn't thought they were "dodgy" … my tenant's been receiving e-mails from them &, as we'd talked some time ago about getting a new kitchen fitted, she's passing them on to me (obviously "reminding" me she'd like a new one - it really does need one).

Seems I'd best burst her bubble :/

If you want a new kitchen, get a company to come over and do the measurements and suggest where the sections could go. Then employ a self employed builder/carpenter to buy a trade price kitchen from his catalogue (you can choose it) and he will fit it for a fraction of the price of a kitchen company.
