Our CO monitor is on the worktop about 8 feet away from the boiler.
The service engineer says it should be above the boiler.
On line advice varies from head height to on the ceiling.
Where should a CO monitor ideally be sited? Thank you.

As high as possible.
Co is slightly lighter than air, hence the ‘high as possible’ advice.
I always thought they should be low, just moved mine after reading this to much higher up
