Why does it take that long? Change the programme.

I set it going (from memory it never took that long before) and it dropped 2.5 hours soo i don’t know why it said it would take that long
with lots of appliance, the most eco programme is the longest. my dishwasher tales 3hrs on the most eco setting, and the tumble dryer takes 3.5 hours
Check that the water inlet hose is not blocked or kinked. The little mesh filter can become furred up in a hard water area(inside the blue plastic nut on the cold fill. Red on a hot fill) If the machine is not filling up quickly the water level will not reach the sensors and let the machine run. Point. Most new machines are cold fill only.
Crikey! Are you doing the washing for all the street. Why don't you change the programme.?
I asked a similar question recently, modern washers with an eco facility take way longer. I have a washer/dryer and 1 programme is over 10 hours - energy saving apparently
my diswashers eco cycle is 3 hours. its the cycle that uses the least water and power so I let it get on with it
