I've never used them, Pasta, but I can't see any reason why not.

I see that there are some that can hold 3.5kg. That's quite a lot of weight. Just make sure you get the right ones for the job.
I guess you could always double them up for something heavier.
Yes and no

I have used them for a few things and they are still on the wall. But I used them for a heavy picture with glass and it fell down within a minute.

^^^ Just what I was saying, Pasta...................... Wolfie didn't read the tin ;o)))

Haha! I've been "reading the tin" on Amazon, and everyone stresses that directions need to be followed to the letter. Luckily, the things I'm considering hanging are fairly lightweight.
Sorry about the broken glass, wolf.
I think the strips are much better than the hooks. The hooks are OK but the strips are fab. Always use one more than necessary ennit thats all the advise i have on them.

I used 5 to hand a double bed sheet sized tapestry (ikr, i didn't think it would work but it worked a charm, it stuck to the fabric well) about 6 month ago and it's standing strong, holds it real well and it flaps in the wind occasionally and it's still hanging strong.
yes yes, oh my goodness yes. The surface that you put them on has to be stable because if the surface peels away from the substrate (like old wallpaper or new paint) then of course they can't adhere, but other than that they are the bee's underwear
PS especially useful in tiled bathrooms because no drilling of tiles. Degrease the surface thouroughly first and yes I would always use a beefier fixture than you think you will need.

*pasta Googles "bee's underwear"...*
like dogs' underwear only smaller, like ants' pants but bigger, like cats' pyjamas only briefer
