Have heard you can build a structure up to 50% of your available space ie rear garden, as long as the night is 3 metres or less. Without planning permission. Anyone heard of this.

Be aware that the limit is not 50% of the available land, it is 50% of the total land.

I remember this being splashed all over the papers and discussed at length on radio talk ins when the law was passed. Everyone was very doom and gloom about it
