When To Sow Seeds In My Mini Greenhouse.

Is it too early to grow some flowers from seeds in a little 4 shelf greenhouse thingy?

I hope not. I have some growing in trays on the bedroom window sill. Doesn't the seed packet give a clue ?

I have Lobelia and Mesembryanthemums in trays in my mini greenhouse Ratters. All seem to be good.

Don't you find these mini greenhouses blow away in the wind ? Or is yours made of heavier stuff ? I bought 2 metal frame/plastic cover ones a couple of years back. They now lie unused in the playhouse at the end of the garden. One experience was enough.

I have a wooden one that I take down and put back up every year Geezer. I also used the plastic tent wotsits for a number of years. I secured the tents to a wooden fence and now do the same with the wooden one.

Perfect time to plant seeds Ratter. If in doubt watch Gardners World at the weekends and follow what they do!

I have a mini greenhouse which I take in after the autumn. i have just put it out now and tied it to the rainwater down pipes. There are little half rings at the back to attach the string to. I also put a lump of rock inside if a storm is expected.

Now used as storage for garden related things of little value.

Wouldn't connect my tent to the fence. It's capable of having it's panels blown right out. Maybe to the posts, but I reckon the tent would simply spin and deposit the contents all over the place. Good to hear wooden ones are more stable.

I will put my balls in it to hold it down, that should do the trick to stop it blowing away!!!!
