Sort of border on the wood at the bottom of my bath. It is getting warped with the bath water. It is not a bath panel proper but just thin wood. I need something I can stick on as I'm not into DIY and I have no one to do it for me. Any ideas ?

Why would the council give me a wet room ? I own my place and I never wanted a wet room. Please read my original post

But I can get in the bath perfectly easily.

This is ridiculous I ask about a border for the bottom of my bath and now you say I am old and need a set room and the rest of your comments. You need a little tact.
tamaris you said you were old, I think people are just been kind to you x
Tamaris can you post a photo to give us a bit of an idea as to what's needed?
If you're looking for a self adhesive, peel and stick border, you try these. Easy to manage individual strips, 14cm x 5.5 cm, buy as many or as few as you need.

Maydup at last someone that has addressed my question, thank you. That is what I am looking for.
Underneath those tile borders? ^

Mallyh i found the comment offensive she does not know me, and did not read the post properly. I am able bodied, elderly with no help. I don't need a wet room off the council, I just need a border for the bottom of my bath.

Tilly that should do it . On a roll and waterproof. Thank you .
Tamaris ... the only problem is the strip wont stick to the panel, if it doesn't have a good dry/sound surface to be applied to.
Question Author
Oh really. It'll be dry. I'll rub it down to get rid of the bad bits will that do ?
The only suggestion I could give would be to dry it out thouroughly using a hairdrier or a small heater.
Stabilise the wood by coating it with a builders adhesive like Unibond. Letting that dry and then applying the strip. Unless it is dry and stable the adhesive on the back of the strip will just pull away.

Thank you for the advice ala
Be careful with a hairdryer in the bathroom. Remember what happened to Ken's first wife in Corrie! (Anne Reid)
