My kitchen drawer which holds all the cutlery has sorta dropped down and when you open and close it "catches" on the bottom cupboard door. I have to lift it to get it fully in.

I got under the drawer and looked at both sides (ie runners, springs, screws) but I couldn't see anything wrong.

I tightened the screws on the cupboard door too but I don't what is wrong. The biggest bit was getting up LOL.

Maybe the bottom of the drawer is sagging?

I was able to look Jo and it is not sagging - seems to be something wrong the springs - they look as if they came down slightly but I tightened them to my ability. I am trying for answers here but could get my nephew to have a look.

oh it's all empty Tambo - nothing in the drawer or cupboard at the mo.

it is actually sticking even tho it is empty.

Jenny difficult to guess with out looking but my best guess is that bottom of draw has come out of its slots or is sagging and catching.

yes Tony there's something wrong but I did use my torch and couldn't find anything untoward with the sliders. I'll live with it but am going to put a little WD40 and then get someone eventually to look at it. It is a soft close drawer - do you know if you can actually get the drawer completely out.

Jenny normally you pull the draw fully out then you can lift it of the runners.

First empty the drawer then pull the drawer right out .. then lift the front edge using the handle. It should disengage from the runners and be easily removed.
Turn the drawer over and check at the base looking at it from underneath. It sounds like the base is sagging. It may well only sag when it is loaded up with the weight of your kitchen utensils.
With the drawer removed inspect the runners to see if they are secure.

Do you want to fix it or will you wait for your nephew.. it involves silicone?

Jenny if runners are loose, other method of repair is to remove screws and runners, then fill holes with quick setting epoxy and then redrill new holes for screws.

I couldn't fix with silicone or any other measures - I find it too difficult getting down, being down and of course getting up. It'll do for another wee while.
