Its lovely and cool outside now and I'm enjoying time the garden after the heat of the day. I've just dug spuds, picked raspberries and run round with the hedge trimmer.

How are you all doing in these temperatures?

The mozzies will get me if I go in the garden in the evening. Which is a shame, I'd love to.
I've just come in from an hour of the same Maydup, it was lovely. I've fed, watered, clipped and dead-headed.
If I bring some ice cream to go with them, can I come and share your raspberries, please?
I used to love evening gardening..... especially watering. Loved very early morning gardening too when it was a hot summer. Not too hot here in south west Ireland!
The weather forecast for your part of the world tomorrow, Gness, look a bit like me: Wet & windy!

Oh well, another excuse for staying in with a nice drop of something, I expect ;-)
Wet and windy indeed, Chris but the afternoons tend to be lovely....well until bottle opening time. :-)
Had intended to evening garden, given the difficulty of doing much at the hottest part of the day; but best laid plans and all that. Found myself on the road.

The hegdehogs are busy now snuffling around in the undergrowth. Such beautiful summer evenings. I wish I were brave enough to through a mat down and sleep out there!
