Anyone know where I can get a battery for an older power tool. It's a Terratek TPDC18134K, battery is TPDC18BK, it's about 4 years old and still works well but the battery is knackered and I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. Thanks.

Sorry, TTT, that link was for the adaptor, not the battery.

ok mate thanks for trying
From what I can see the only batteries available are for cordless garden equipment.

Now

I needed a replacement charger for my 18v worx drill, couldn't find one anywhere, all now 20v, so I contacted Worx who said no, the batteries won't even fit the newer style charger
I went ahead and got one off ebay anyway as the photo showed the same as my dodgy one but 20v on the side and yes, it worked absolutely fine.

Maybe try comparing online images with what you have and see if they look the same?
I`ve looked at the pictures of the battery and it's quite distinctive and I can`t see any available on the internet. You could try contacting these people as they are Terratek vendors on Amazon/Ebay etc https://www.futuradirect.co.uk/collections/diy-tools They`re website doesn`t show any either but they might be able to tell you whether they are actually still made so that you don`t waste a lot of time looking.

no, sadly, that's a newer version thanks.
Think you might be out of luck, I have just had to scrap mine. You could split your battery cases and replace the cells but this could be more expensive, mine were so I have just got the DEWORX 21V off ebay, £35 with 2 batteries and they do a hammer drill with the same battery for £35, so 2 drills with 3 batteries £70. They are superlight and have loads of power.

yeah reckon you are right Ian, I'll do that I think.
Have you tried unplugging and replugging the charger, with the duff battery connected, from the mains whilst it is switched on? Sounds daft I know but it can work. Don't use the on/off switch to turn off and on but physically pull and plug in the mains lead a few times.
