Welcome to the very moody world of weeping figs (ficus benjimina)...the symptoms you describe are shock to the plant caused by moving it.
Once figs are settled in a place they like, they hate being moved. Generally speaking, figs like warm, humid bright places. Draughts, low light, radiators, cold, dry air and incorrect watering will all add to the woes of the plant.
The options you have are 1) move it back, cut it back a bit (mind the white latex sap) and keep it fairly dry or 2) leave it where it is and treat as above then hopefully it might recover.
Come the spring, increase watering and feed weekly....feeding is ultra important if you want the plant to boost its immune system.
Good luck
