Indemnity Insurance
0 Answers
I am currently in the final stages of buying a house that has a loft conversion.
The current owner stated that he "didn't know it was necessary". I would like to add the blokes a roofer who did it with his own company!!!!I
He has offered indemnity insurance, which we'll take, but what I want to know is, is there some law that states if a conversion has been added for a certain amount of years and never contested then the council cant make you take it down? Does there come a point when it's legal????
