Sorry but I prefer his choice!
Question Author
I actually found all the lights myself but he wants the cluster pendant because it's going to be easier due to the vaulted ceiling.

Don't apologise, Puzzled, I'm genuinely interested what people think.
I like both, probably prefer his but they would be a nightmare to clean!
Question Author
Well if he gets his way, he can clean them... :-)
I prefer his too and love the wall lights to complete the look.
How high is the vaulted ceiling? Think about how you would change the bulbs
I must say I much prefer his choice! Tasteful, interesting and has got character.
Question Author
I love both choices, but I prefer the individual pendants and they were the very thing I'd spent months searching for. However I absolutely love the wall lights so that's probably going to swing it in his favour.
I like his choice!!
Who the hell designed 'his' light? Heath Robinson? While it might have a certain level of curiosity value on first seeing it, I'd hate to live with it!

'Your' light might not be my first choice but it's much closer to the 'Scandinavian feel' that I regard as being appropriate over a kitchen island.
I don't like his choice either as it's far too 'fussy'
Question Author
It's probably not for everyone, Chris, but we like them.

You've got to picture the kitchen they're in ... in this case matte grey handleless cupboards / units against an exposed brick background - a modern kitchen with an industrial twist.
Take a look at this page for some really cracking ideas:

Question Author
Nothing floats my boat in that link, Chris, however I appreciate the suggestions and any other suggestions would be most welcome :-)
If you look at the picture of the office with the multi pendant light, all of those wires hanging down looks a bit messy.
Question Author
We wouldn't hang it like that though, 237. Some people like that look but I don't.
Is something like this a bit too Steampunk?

Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
That's a bit 'over the top', lynne!
I also prefer his...but I'm not sure about all the wires. I like a combination of industrial and vintage.
Question Author
Probably a bit, Mamya, as we still want to retain the overall modernity of the space. It's nice though.
