What's This Vessel For?

It's about 3/4 pint capacity, made of copper with a straight brass handle extending from the side. There's a lip on the rim so it looks as though it's for pouring something.
It might be 19th Century.

The handle seems a bit long for a coffee pot. It might be to measure milk or some other liquid.

I think it's a warming pot. Similiar to the images MargoTester and Rowanwitch displayed.

If it's like the picture it's a Turkish coffee pot - it doesn't mean it is from Turkey it's the style of making coffee all over the Middle East & beyond. Coffee water & sugar are put in the pot & it is held over the fire, that is why the handle is so long, Nothing is filtered & you get the grounds in the bottom of your cup.
