Hi my living flame gas fire has just started giving me low flame, I have cleaned it all out and put the coals back, still the same which part do you think is at fault

Once it's lit, the subsequent heat then triggers a device that allows the gas to flow freely. It sounds to me as if that device has failed, so that the gas only ever flows at the initial start-up rate.
If so, it's probably the thermocouple interrupter block that needs replacing. The part only costs about a tenner but, by law, it has to be fitted by a qualified person, whose name appears on the Gas Safe Register.
