I just use Cif and a sponge with a green scourer on it.
Same for bathroom stuff etc.

An unbranded cleaner is elbow grease, available in every home, for free!
cheap and cheerful is Flash with bleach, you can buy it at most stores i think. I used it on my Belfast sink and it's come up sparkling white.
And here I was thinking a Belfast Sink could be bomb hole.
Thanks to google we live and learn,,
sometimes called a Butler sink,

the Flash cleaner with bleach cost me £1.50 in Sainsburys, spray on and leave for a while, then get a soft cloth and wipe round, worked a treat.
If I had a butler I'd install a sink for him..
Butlers don't do sinks, they serve the house, a maid would do the washing up, a lowly one at that.
and she would clean the sink after she washed up the dishes.
So why a butler sink, if they wouldn't use one?
It's so confusing being an antipodean aber
i have no idea why it's often called that. It probably is historical in nature.
you are correct it would seem, a historical term Butler sink, so the Butler could wash up the dishes after the nobles had dined.

Belfast sink because they were made there.
My daughter is in the process of having a house built.
It comes with a butlers pantry.
Doubt she will ever hire a butler.
Probably a waste of money.
i wish i had a pantry, they are jolly useful for storing goods.
You shouldn't use bleach on stainless steel, so check the label before you use any cleaner
