The garden is about 40' long with a privet hedge to the north . The rest gets lots of sun. At the minute it's a lawn .
I was thinking of digging up a small quadrant and planting plants that might give a bit of colour.

Flower beds mean weeding. Unless you don't mind that on-going chore stick to plants in pots. Much easier.

I think I've come to the stage where a lot of strenuous work would be beyond me. Plants in pots is worth thinking about.
