Does anyone know what I can use to block out the sun/heat on a skylight window?
Can anyone recommend something that they have used, that actually works?
Thank you

A piece of cardboard cut to size?
^ What we do. Fixed to window frame with velcro pads.
I think Zacs suggestion is valid (I've use white card successfully), but another thing I've used is foil-back bubble wrap from consignments received (in my case I was "recycling" and it not specifically purchased, but if you google "foil backed bubble wrap' you'll get lots of sources)
Any skylight shade should work. Putting in air conditioning is probably your best bet for cooling things down, though.
Bit more expensive than a piece of cardboard tho, OG.
Is it a brand, like Velux? If so, you can buy blackout blinds that fit exactly - I have one and it works perfectly. You need the window size code, usually on a plate somewhere on the window, and can be ordered online.
Much prettier though Zacs.
We have sun reflective blinds on our back windows and doors. Effective but light reducing.
