I don't see how ramping up mortgage rates for a few, which might filter through for some as increased rents, will reduce inflation.

Certainly hasn't helped, and we're still awaiting the promise to reduce that money supply again.

Meanwhile, of course it has nothing to do with economic manipulation. It's because there isn't enough infustrial action at present; and a Tory government doesn't feel they're really in power without the reassuring situation of more folk striking while they govern.

There's a risk they may retain some of the red wall if something isn't done soon. I just wonder what they said to the BoE to get it sorted.
