Softening Fabric

I have some new poly cotton pillowcases which need softening up (not cheapies either). Can anyone suggest anything to do the trick, I already tried laundry rinse.

I always give new bedding a full wash cycle and iron the pillowcases. Sometimes they need two washes before use

Find a pillow as well Mr Dp... more comfortable.
