I have noticed a slight dripping from the where the pipe from the cistern goes into the toilet bowl it drips 2 or 3 times quite quickly when the toilet is flushed but then slows and a drip just seems to hang there after that, is this just condensation or is there a way of fixing this. I would appreciate any advise.

You could try pushing the toilet pan back on to the pipe with your foot. Sounds like it mays have worked itself a bit loose.
These leaks can be difficult to stop if the seal to the pan is plastic. Change it for a softer rubber type seal and use silicon if all else fails. You will need to unscrew the nut from the cistern first to remove it with a bit of fiddling.
