Storage Heaters

Could anyone explain to me how they work, we moved from a home where we had a combi boiler, and rads, in the new  house only storage heaters and I'm never warm.

My sister is having the same problem having moved to an all-electric flat.

Her storage heaters are quite old though & she is hoping to replace them - maybe with electric radiators.

Heating up bricks, like your granny did to warm the bed.

I moved last year, previous flat had a combi boiler and CH.  I was always cold.

I now have storage heaters and it is warm and toasty.
