Airbricks
Hi Aber's. I am fitting an airbrick on our 'single brick' wall washroom (wall goes black with damp, sick of cleaning it) Is there a height it would be best placed to prevent damp caused by our washing machine and drier (condenser type)? The wall is about 4ft high with a window above which doesn't open. My online searches only show cavity wall or underfloor ideas. TIA.

Fresh cool air comes in at the bottom, picks up the warm water vapour, and it goes out through the top vent. So, one vent anywhere near the bottom, and the second somewhere near the top.
Even better if they can be on opposite walls.
