I recently moved into a new house and in my bathroom there is a small plastic box which says FUSED on it. At first I thought it was a shaver point but it doesn't open up into anything. Is it something that could easily be turned into a shaver/electric toothbrush point? If so, how would i do this?

Thanks

Do you have an electric heater in the bathroom? This could be the fuse for it.

No, there's no heater (wish there was!!)

This sounds like a fused spur connection, it does contain a fuse (obviously!) but it may be already connected to something, usually the part marked ''fuse'' clips out by using a small screwdriver or something and the fuse is inside the part which opens, try taking out the fuse and see if anything stops working !

ah, so maybe its for the extractor fan?? The main thing i wanted to know was whether it could become a shaving point/electric toothbrush point! Silly me!

You may be able to use this supply but you must inform building control before starting electrical work in a bathroom or if you don't know how to do it you must employ a competant electrician.
