Does anyone know of a nice looking, old fashioned or retro (i.e. 50s) cooker available out there?
Cheers

It was one of those upright white models with an electric oven, gas hob and fold-away eye level gas grill. I disguarded mine five years ago after over 35 years use when our kitchen was upgraded. It was still as solid and efficient as the day we bought it in 1966.. It was the worst thing I ever did and I miss it daily. Modern cooking appliances are re-engineered rubbish and if you can find a cooker of that era it will proably still last you out, which the modern day ones certainly won't.
Not sure if you'll see this msg as you posted the Q so long ago but I'm lselling my nans 1967 gas cooker. Its not 50's I know but it looks great with the chrome trimming. Its a Parkinson Tower Prince Two and is in perfect working order and amazingly clean. I have pictures but not sure how we can get in touch with each other without posting our email address for all to see?
