Not got a dishwasher, but bought a Miele washing machine last year and I love it! It was dearer than other machines, but got a free 10 year guarantee with it, so hopefully should work out fairly cheap if you think of the price I paid divided over 10 years. On the strength of how good my washing machine is I would not hesitate to buy Miele products again.
All our major kitchen appliances are Miele and they're all great, super reliable and work like a dream, quite quiet too.
yup, 646 sc plus , I love it. The house is a little Mecca to Miele now, since Bosch went mass market and in my view lost some of their build quality. We are not lighthanded with appliances and these are surviving well. I only realise how quiet my appliances are when you have to shout at other folks gaffs 'cos the wash is underway.Sign up for all the insurance if there are no offers (as parts are expensive and the call out and first hour is about 85 quid from memory.)

check to see if this model is current and covered by the extended warranty offer.

Miele themselves will be very helpful if you contact them.

I believe it is the base model which has the cutlery basket and not the cutlery tray.

All Miele products are a cut above all other domestic appliance manufacturers but pricey if needing repair out of warranty.
