Has anyone used this product - sempatap I have found while surfing.

We do not have cavity walls and we have one very long external wall which is very cold and know we are losing a lot of heat through it.

Any other alternatives out there (except boarding it which is prohibitively expensive)

I've never heard of it, but I looked at the weblink you provided. The claims look plausible but this really isn't providing very much in the way of insulation. You say boarding is prohibitively expensive so you must have looked at this, but that is what I would do. 25mm battens on the walls, fill the gap with 25mm Cellotex or similar, 12mm plasterboard and skim. A far better job which will slash your heat losses.

Yours was an idea that a mate of mine came up with - unfortunatley the main part is the hallway (and we have 12 foot ceilings - so 24foot high by stairs).

This isn't something I could do myself so would have to get a builder mate in at weekends (around 150 a day) and guestimating at least 5 days! Its not so much the materials but the labour for that. I reckon I could do most of the wallhanging myself - just need a mate to help witht he highest bits.
