does anyone out there know of a cheapish electric air refreshener that i can install in my bathroom during redecoration?

There shouldn't be any electric sockets in your bathroom under uk law.

I've always found some of the scented candles to be nice....i'm using apple and cinamon from Tesco at the mo

Please avoid any of the plug-in air fresheners which you plug into an electric socket as they are dangerous and can cause fires. The best bet is either an open window (difficult at this time of year) or aromatic candles or the aromatic oil burners in which a few drops of aromatic oil is placed in water over a tea light candle. (Lavender and citrus are very effective).
