I have a woollen jumper which has two lumps on the shoulders, where the coathanger has been. Anyone any ideas on how to remove the lumps please? Thanks.

wash carefully by hand using a specialist wool handwash and conditioner, roll up in towels to dry then lay out to dry flat, pulling carefully back into shape, you may need to do this more than once.

After doing what woofgang's suggested, it might be best to fold the jumper in half & hang the body part of it over a trouser hanger, or keep it folded in the bottom of your wardrobe or drawer. Good luck.

I had to learn the hard way like chappie. Nothing worse than getting jumpers out of your wardrobes with pimples on the shoulders!

Oh, How could you put your jumpers on hangers in the first place.Put jumper on bed, fold shoulders, sleeves, over to middle, thenfold in half.Put in draw.lovely neat jumper to put,and no problems.???
