It was total c*** and it was a relief when 3 years ago it finally broke down and was beyond economic repair at about 4 years old.
I cannot find anything good to say about the boiler or indeed the manufacturer who proved totally unhelpful when I tried to obtain information.
Naturally we did not have a Volkera as a replacement; in fact we replaced the entire system with a modern indirect system with a presurised hot tank and I can honestly say that it fulfills all our needs.
to hard@it i have checked the micro switch when i push it in myself the pump runs and the boiler fires up ok . the problem is the plunger on the three port valve dose not move out properly to work the micro switch i think the problem could be the diaphragms what do you think
Yeah Domestic hot water diaphraghm is the most likely cause going on the information given, Give the parts centre the manufacturers 'part' number <0870> and they should sort you out!! really easy to change but you may need the 2 'o' rings for the weep tubes that supply the diaphraghm housing as once disturbed rarely seal back up <8542>
