Is there any way of repairing a newish bath after a dopey husband dropped paint stripper in it? It now has holes where the plastic/acrylic part has disappeared leaving a rough patch..help!
Thanks to anyone with any ideas :)

I doubt you'll be able to fix it, as it sounds like the paint stripper has gone through the Gel coat and exposed the Fiberglass underneath.
Sounds to me like you'll need a new bath, your home insurance should cover it though.
If it is fibreglass you can get a gel coat repair kit for boats from boatyard chandlers which may work. Failing that you need a new bath and husband!

thanks to both of you, might give that a try before buying a new bath, wish it was as simple to sort out the hubby!
