upvc window rubber cleaner?

I had white upvc double glazed windows fitted a few years ago and unfortunately chose white instead of black rubber seals that go around the glass in the push outs and windows e.t.c. Can anyone please advise me on what I can use to keep these white rubbers clean and restore them to their former glory. I have tried tried things like washing up liquid and various household type cleaners which are ok but don't do a proper job. Thanks.

Apparently there is nothing you can do to whiten them.

I am afraid there is nothing you can do. I work in the industry and we always advise people from having white rubber. In fact some frame suppliers have stopped supplying white gasket.

No help I am afraid.
