Old cottage

I have been trying to find out about 150 year old farm cottage my son lives in but don't know where to start really. I have been on internet to look for Huddersfield archives and there again not found anything that helps. Just wondered if there were any photos in library or local paper from years back but I am a novice at this and don't know where to try next. Has anyone got any advice.

Well, your local library would certainly be a good starting point.

Whilst at the local library see if they've got the census returns as you could then find out who was living there in 1851/61/71/81/91 and 1901.
