Water Pressure Problem

In the last day or so our water pressure has been very weak. Both upstairs & downstairs the hot tap just trickles, and the cold tap isn't much better. Also, the shower is running very cold and wont heat up. All the radiators are working fine and we have checked everthing we can think of, but can't find a reason for it? Has anyone got an idea of what the problem can be, as we haven't a clue as this hasn't happened before? Thanks

Is your water from, mains or tanked, if it's mains do you have a meter with a filter ?

Our water is from the mains and I dont think we have a filter?

Have you checked with your neighbours? There could be a fault on the mains. If so, ring up your local water company.

Are you in a flat house with garden main door, it all depends on your individual circumstance, as sddsddean says check around. if it was me and everyone else is ok, I would close mains stopcock annd open the nearest outlet and see, youmay have an underground burst etc. You did not say re meter. Do not under any circumstance,(repeat), break a connection immediately at stopcock as the stopcock may blow off the pipe, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
