my bonsai tree

hi. my bonsai tree is a chinese elm, i havent had it long but think it's about 2 years old.
i recently repotted it. and now a lot of the leaves have died.. dont know whether my repotting has killed it.
can anyone help?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Am not a bonsai expert, but possibly the roots dried out a little during the repotting process or the repotting compost you used may have been too acid i.e. the sort used for planting heathers, rather than a general-type compost. Don't be too hasty about thinking it dead. It must just be in shock and need time to recover. Keep the soil damp though.
