Orange Peel apparently

Or inject weed killer into a sausage and leave it for the cats...may look suspicious if you end up with loads of dead cats in your garden

Get a 12 bore! (don't forget the licence though. Wouldn't want to do anything illegal!!!)
Never had that problem when I had a cat he must have gone to someone elses garden but now I dont have him anymore I started getting visits from cats in garden .Put moth balls round works with the cats here.

Had personal success using those kids water guns - the big powerful ones that soak. Takes a few times for the daft animal to realise and take the hint, though.
You can get some stuff called "Get off".It's like little green jelly crystals which you can sprinkle around.Smells of eucalyptus. They sell it at any garden centre or Wilkinsons have it.
It is good. ..or I can always send Shaney round to chase them away.Great big dog .. he is a cats nightmare !!
There is a product called "Silent Roar" thats based on lion urine, but its not smelly! Scatter granules around the garden where the cats "go" I got mine from a garden centre, and it worked.

Its not just cats - I had a dog whose owner regularly walked her dog and let it run into my garden and crap at the back of my garden - always in same place.I got the crystals and it worked.

Just while we're on the anti cat subject some people have raised what about the dog crap thats left on the pavement and you dont see it until its embedded in your shoes and carpet. At least cats bury it.

"At least cats bury it." .... which is why I love finding it, with no warning, when I am doing the gardening!!!

I kmow sdd - that was a bit of a selfish answer from a cat owner. Its better than it sqwelching on your shoes and through your house though.

However - I have actively encouraged the one neighbour who doesnt like cats to do what he finds necessary to put Buddy off and he has succeeded. The rest to be fair dont mind because Buddy likes to keep within the confines of his territory apart from lying on old Beatties Patio in the summer across the road and she loves it.

Get a jam jar, some used tea bags & some Jeyes Fluid (which you can buy in any supermarket) Half fill the jar with water, add about two tablespoons of Jeyes Fluid, put the lid on the jar and give it a shake to mix it, now put several used tea bags in the liquid to soak - then spread them around your garden (I bury them just under the surface) cats hate the smell, it works for me.
