Window film - any good?

I'm thinking of buying window film to give the effect of acid-etched glass in my bathroom window. Has anybody ever used this stuff - is it any good? Have been looking at website www.brume.co.uk - it looks really good in the pictures (but doesn't it always?)

its ok, but you have to make sure its done very well otherwise it looks naff, getting all the bubbles out can be a nightmare even tho they make it look so easy.
