If by SAD lights you mean daylight lamps these are available in several forms. GLS lamps in BC & ES bases up to 100W. Fluorescent tubes in most popular sizes. Compact fluorescents (low energy) in their various forms also come in daylight colour. These should all be available from the big DIY stores or specialist lighting shops.
Good luck.
Thanks - Boots have small table lamps, but they are about 145, and this seems to be the normal price.
I suffer from depression and want to see if using this form of lighting over the dull winter (and most of our summer!) might help cheer me up.
It is just basically a light that gives out natural daylight 'beams'.
