fitting locks

I would get a real satisfaction of being able to fit a mortice lock by myself. Is there a book on it? would like to align everything without a hitch.

Any good diy book should tell ypu how to do this, also, when you buy a lock they usually come with full fitting instructions. You can also get "how to" leaflets from large diy stores like B&Q, Homebase etc. You could also try B&Q's website which is www.diy.co.uk
