Grout or Re-tile - which do you suggest
1 Answers
I have discovered a leak this morning in the shower. I have figured out that there is some sort of grouting/sealent problem.
I can either regrout the whole thing (which would involve a lot of hassle) or I can re-tile (over the top of existing). I will only be using cheap white tiles (spare bathroom which is only used around 40 times a year).
Any advantages / disadvantages that you can think of for regrouting?
Any other tips greatly appreciated to.

In the first instance, why not try scraping the grout or sealant in these areas away and re-doing just that bit. These areas should have silicon sealant in them anyway - not grout. Buy decent quality stuff - advertised as 20 or 25 year life. About 7 per tube in white and also some pastel shades.
