Memorial Roses
Hello all,
Some of you may have seen my posts in body and soul about the sad passing of my gramps this week.
I'd really like to get some sort of rose that I can plant in his memory, he isn't going to have grave and I want somewhere I can go and talk to him, like I have with my other grandparents.
Just done a search for roses called Grandpa (he was never Grandad), and there seems to be one called Grandpas delight but I can't see where to buy it. Does anyone have any ideas?
Or does anyone know of any other roses (or other plants) that are called Grandpa or Gramps?
Thanks in advance.

Hey all,
Thanks for your suggestions,
In a pickle - Cants look quite good and there not too far away so I'll pop in next time I'm in Colchester.
Joko - I looked at inventing our own but the prices were incredible, and as my gramps was very poorly, I'd rather donate my spare cash to his chosen charities in the hope we can find a cure.
Ray - Thanks for your kind words, with all these suggestions something is sure to be a fitting tribute!
Robinia - Grandpa Dickson looks lovely too, and theres loads of info on that site.
Derek - Remember me looks good too, think I'll have to have a good look before I make a decision.
Thanks all, I have lots to look at, probably won't get one immediately but will have a look, I want a friendly looking one - then it won't look so odd when I'm sitting there chatting to it!!
