Gas Central heating Guarantee?

Hi has anyone previously had gas central heating installed I just would like to know what Guarantee is the norm for this kind of work.

new boiler will be guaranteed for a year as per norm, ask the plumber (corgi registered of course) what guarantee he gives for the rest of the work.
