I have just fitted a new shower screen in the bathroom and did'nt nothice that I had some mastic on my hand. Now I have a couple of hand prints on the glass which won't come off. Does anyone know what might dissolve mastic so I can get it off

Try a vinegar solition, even pure vinegar. If no luck then try isopropyl alcohol (if you can get it) or else surgical spirit. If the material is silicone and not mastic, the job will be more difficult but the stuff will still come off eventually.
Nail polish remover might be worth a try.(especially acetone based - if you can still get it...)
Thanks to you both, I'll give it a whirl
try silicone remover , which is very effective.
