Latch, catch or whatever

If this has a distinct name does anyone know what it is called or better still where these are available: The sort of hook that is often found in pairs on small wooden (jewellery, etc.) boxes for the purpose of holding the lid down - they usually hook over a pin which is driven into the wood and has only just enough shank protruding below the head to accomodate the thickness of the hook. They are made of (usually flat, not round) metal and are in the shape of a somewhat rounded numeral seven, sometimes with a tail back from the top right corner (this being a sort of handle to the thing). Because they are flat they are reversible left and right. I would like a couple, preferably in brass, and rather larger than the most common ones.

Thanks, Ethel, no not at all. If you have ever seen a wooden trinket box no bigger (or even a good bit smaller) than a box of tissues that rather grandly unlocks by pivoting outward these hooks that sit flat against the surface of the box......that's the type. I have been scouring eBay for something like it and can't even find an example of the little box-sized ones to refer to. I have something like it here at home (small box I mean) but can't for the life of me find anything of the right size.

Hook and eye is the basic old fashioned wire hook that fits into a looped "eye" rather like the ones that used to be at each end of the sheathed spring supports (slightly elastic plastic coated wire, really) for net curtains in the old days. This duo (hook and eye) are instantly recognisable and Ethel's first suggestion is a posh version of the same. Can't find anything on Screwfix, that was one of the first thoughts.
