Stoves newhome gas cooker - fan will not go off

I have a Stoves newhome 500 WL DL gas cooker. Normally the fan at the back comes on when you put the grill on. When you have finished and close the grill door, after about 5 minutes the fan goes off. I have just used the grill tonight, and an hour later, the fan is still going!!! ahhhhh. Any advice you could give apart from take the plug out the wall.......

if you read the booklet that came with the cooker it should say that after using the grill you should leave the door open for a few minutes. This is so that the fan can cool the grill compartment.. The fan is connected to the thermostat which could now be faulty due to the door being closed straight after use.

Not much you can do about it yourself now except call out an appliance engineer.
